Mobile Notary Services: Why Having a Notary Come to You Matters

By Sara The Notary · January 31, 2026

A mobile notary is exactly what it sounds like — a commissioned notary who comes to you. After 20 years on the road across Florida, I can tell you that mobile service is not a luxury; for many people, it is the only practical option.

Where I go

Homes, offices, title companies, hospitals, assisted living facilities, hospice centers, jails, coffee shops, and the occasional parking lot when timing is tight. If you can be there with valid ID, I can probably meet you.

Common reasons people call

A loved one is hospitalized and needs to sign a power of attorney before surgery. A real estate deal needs to close on a Saturday. A senior cannot easily leave the house. A business owner needs a contract notarized between meetings. International paperwork is due tomorrow. Life does not always cooperate with bank lobby hours.

What I bring

My commission, seal, journal, pens, and the specific notarial certificates your document might be missing. I confirm the type of notarial act required, verify IDs, complete the certificate, and walk out with everything done right the first time.

Booking

Same-day and after-hours appointments are often possible. The earlier you call, the more flexibility I have on scheduling.
